This index includes veterinary medicinal products approved in the Member States of the European Union according to the Mutual Recognition and Decentralised Procedures.

The Directive 2001/82/EC as amended in November 2005 introduced a new format for the SPC with new headings. All the SPC adopted could not be reformatted at this date but it was decided to update them at a later stage (variation or renewal). All the SPC published here have the November 2005 format because the VMR index could not accept two formats for the SPC. As a consequence, some sections of the SPC (eg list of excipients) can be missing because the published SPC is not in line with the new format.
